Ashley and Ryan's wedding was beyond spectacular. As a member of the US Air Force, Ryan and Ashley decided that the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs would be the perfect location for their wedding ceremony. Ryan trained falcons during his time at the Academy and arranged for one of the falcons that he trained to be included in some of their photos. This was a first for me and also incredibly exciting. It was a beautiful day with a beautiful couple. A little bit about Ashley and Ryan...
How They Met...
"Ryan and I met at the Grizzly Rose at a Craig Morgan concert. My girlfriends and I were approached by his group of friends and they asked us to dance. Sadly we said no, but I guess they got a little more liquid courage because they came back a couple hours later and this time we said yes! As everyone started pairing off Ryan and I were the last two standing. We danced the rest of the night and didn't stop talking. Since that night the butterflies haven't gone away! Shortly after we met Ryan had to leave for Texas for training and we decided to give the long distance relationship a try! It was hard but worth it!"
How He Proposed...
"Ryan proposed March 15, 2013. I was going out with my friend Andrea for what I thought was just a girls night. We were going to Cru in downtown Denver and when we got there I thought it was a little strange that the hostess had to sit us downstairs, saying the upstairs was full. As we were looking over the menu I felt someone tap me on the shoulder, I turned around and there was Ryan standing there with all my friends! He got down on one knee and proposed! My reaction wasn't perfect because I was so surprised I just kept asking him why he was there. After the shock wore off I said yes! I was lucky enough to have my brother film everything! Ryan put so much work into flying to Colorado and getting everyone together!"
Working with Elizabeth Cryan Photography...
"We are extremely happy with the quality of our wedding pictures! They are not just wedding pictures hanging on our walls they are art! I choose Elizabeth Cryan Photography because when I met Liz at a bridal show she was so easy to talk to! It was really important to me to find a photographer I would enjoy following me around on our wedding day. She is so fun and nice! I'm so happy we picked her. Besides being a great person her pictures were amazing and did not remind me of every other wedding album I had seen. There were a lot of unique shots which I loved! Liz is so much fun to work with! She makes it really enjoyable and stress free. I highly recommend Elizabeth Cryan Photography."
